FLORIDA HOME HEALTH
|
|
As of July 1, 2010, Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Home Care Unit
will begin accepting new license applications and change of ownerships (CHOW) for home health
agencies in Miami-Dade and Broward counties in Florida. This ends the one year hold on
acceptance of new license applications and CHOWs for these counties. New applications
for licensure are still required to achieve accreditation prior to the issuance of a license.
AHCA now requires Accreditation before issuing state licenses to Home Health Agencies.
