COMMUNITY SUPPORT (CS)
Community Support provides a wide array of services to recipients based on their individual needs and disabilities. Services are designed to assist children, adolescents, and adults challenged with mental health, substance abuse and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities in achieving, regaining and maintaining their highest level of functioning, thereby allowing them to live more independently and participate in the community.
The goal of the service is to support the recipient in achieving the following goals: Develop and maintain meaningful relationships; have personal choice and control over their lives; participate in meaningful activities; gain or maintain safety and health; achieve and maintain a home or home placement within the community.
