PERSONAL SUPPORT SERVICES (PSS)
Personal Support Services provide assistance to service recipients of all ages and disabilities. PSS is designed to assist the service recipient with activities of daily living. Qualified support personnel help individuals to bathe, dress, eat, and navigate a range of other daily tasks. The personal support worker assists service recipients with tasks that they are unable to do for themselves independently because of disability due to disease, trauma, or age. In Addition, personal support workers can assist with housekeeping chores, meal preparation, and reminders to take medication.
