With the passage of Senate Bill 1495, hospice agencies are now required to become accredited in order to obtain licensure. ACHC Accreditation has been approved by the California Department of Public Health to perform licensure surveys to help you meet this requirement and obtain your initial Medicare-certification.
ACHC is the provider’s choice for accreditation!
In addition to our unique educational approach to accreditation, ACHC is able to offer prompt survey scheduling within 25 days of readiness. ACHC is an internationally recognized accreditation organization with CMS Deeming Authority for Home Health and Hospice, relevant and realistic standards developed by industry experts, and Surveyors who are Registered Nurses.
ACHC has stood as a symbol of quality and excellence for more than 30 years and has a Quality Management System certified to ISO 9001:2015.

Experience the ACHC Difference
We truly are committed to providing the best possible accreditation experience. This is reflected in the fact that 98% of ACHC’s accredited providers report a positive experience and 98% would refer ACHC to a colleague. Here’s what ACHC customers have to say:
“In my more than 34 years of working and running various companies I cannot recall an organization more in tune with customer satisfaction – it is a sustainable competitive advantage. Your company is a wonderful blend of caring for your customer without compromising your fiduciary duties to CMS.”

Educational Survey Approach
“Our Surveyor, by far, was the most thorough and informative hospice Surveyor I have worked with (including four prior Joint Commission surveys). She recognized the areas we excel in, and educated us in areas requiring improvement in a manner that was professional with the level of expertise that I would look for in a Surveyor.”
Hospice of Iredell County
“What stood out the most was your standards and supplemental materials, The standards took the guesswork out of Medicare CoPs. The interpretations were clear, and if some weren't, we always had someone at ACHC available to explain them.”
