Accreditation Programs and Services
ACHC offers a full range of nationally recognized accreditation and compliance programs tailored specifically to the home care and alternate site healthcare industry. ACHC staff and industry experts have combined their talents and time to develop our highly relevant standards. Our customized standards are written for ease of understanding with realistic expectations for daily operations.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has established provider requirements for Home Health; Hospice; Private Duty; and Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Suppliers (DMEPOS) agencies that participate in the Medicare program. For certain programs and services, Medicare requires organizations to become accredited by an approved accreditation organization like ACHC before they are able to participate with Medicare.
Switching accreditation organizations is easier than ever with ACHC’s Transition Program.
