ACHC offers a patient-focused approach to Sleep Accreditation with principles that were developed with direct input from industry professionals to ensure relevant and realistic standards.
The organization’s educational approach to accreditation is designed to facilitate a higher quality of patient care while enhancing business efficiencies. In order to remain flexible to the needs of providers, ACHC’s Sleep Accreditation program offers standards for Sleep Labs/Centers (SLCs) and stand-alone Home Sleep Testing (HST) services.
By achieving ACHC Accreditation, Sleep providers are able to demonstrate their commitment to providing the highest-quality service through compliance with national regulations and industry best practices.

Sleep Accreditation Services
ACHC's nationally recognized services include:
Sleep Lab Accreditation is for sleep testing services conducted in Independent Diagnostic Testing Facilities (IDTFs), as defined by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), physician-based testing facilities, or hospital-based testing facilities. Sleep Lab Accreditation includes all necessary Home Sleep Testing (HST) standards.
Home Sleep Testing Accreditation is a stand-alone option for polysomnography services that are conducted only in the home setting.
