The National Supplier Clearinghouse is responsible for issuing Medicare enrollment numbers. It is also responsible for enforcing compliance with Medicare’s Supplier Standards. This program will discuss what a new supplier needs to know about the application process. It will include a review of the 855S and common errors that a supplier commits when submitting its application. As part of the application process, a supplier will be subjected to a site visit; this presentation will discuss steps a supplier can take to prepare for it. Knowing what the NSC is looking for when it conducts a site visit will allow suppliers to be prepared and fly though a site inspection. This program will also discuss the revalidation process and things a supplier should expect during the process.
